"For me, film is not the way out, it is simply the way forward. It is what gives me the energy to get up every morning. The way I discover the wonders of the world, It is walking without being blind. Through the viewfinder I can understand things in a way that words don't allow me to.  Sometimes it is witnessing the power of nature.  The measure of certain intangible things, the trace of presence or absence. It is vital drive, passion, desire, it is courage. It is weepin and despair but also hope and love and joy and friendship."
